Sherief Elsayed is involved in a number of charitable activities - some at home and some further afield.
Sherief Elsayed is a regular supporter of:
Sherief Elsayed currently sponsors 5 children in Africa, the Middle East and Central America.
Sherief Elsayed undertook a medical aid trip to the Greek island of Lesbos - click here for more information.
He continues to provide support where he can to refugees in the United Kingdom and across Europe.
In 2014 Sherief Elsayed helped to lead a team of 4 surgeons, 3 nurses and 1 physiotherapist to Ethiopia, where they provided Spinal Surgery and rehabilitation to hundreds of patients. Much equipment was taken from the UK to Ethiopia and put to good use in Addis Ababa (Black Lion University Hospital, amongst others) as well as in Adama (Nazreth).
Sherief Elsayed is currently raising funds for an orphanage. The aim of the orphanage is twofold:
To provide children with a safe, nurturing environment in which they can develop
To provide children, who have been deprived of a start in life many of us would wish for our own children, with education and skills that support both themselves and the orphanage, such as:
Carpentry
Plumbing
Painting and decorating
Nursing
Tourism (guides)
…and many more
Sherief Elsayed believes that all children, regardless of where they are born or their background, have aptitudes for certain skills that might never be realised. The aim of the orphanage is to bring out those aptitudes, in order to allow those children the best start in life possible.
Children interested in medicine or other forms of healthcare, engineering, computer science and other industries will be offered sponsorships to help them develop the skills required to help not only themselves but their local communities.
Sherief Elsayed provides all charitable donations to those in need; there are no administrative charges.
